Raw Nutella

Let me introduce you the best smoothie bowl topping ever! It’s also known for being a notorious toast spread. Or healthy snack fruit dip. Or even a great eat-with-a-spoon treat.  Anyways, it’s an iconic everyone’s favorite.....Easy homemade “Nutella”!

It’s actually to simple, you’ll never need to but Nutella again. Especially since the original is made with 75% sugar and palm oil, while this one has at least 75% nuts and cacao powder. And no refined sugar or palm oil whatsoever.

Here I must say, proportions in this recipe very much depend on your preference, but here is the basic:
Recipe for ~500ml

2 cups (~300g) raw hazelnuts
1/2 cup (125 ml) raw cacao powder
1/3 cup (85ml) nut milk. Or more if you feel like paste is too thick
1/3 cup (85ml) maple or agave syrup, or raw honey. More or less, depending on your sweet teeth
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
Optional pinch of salt for deeper chocolate flavor

TO DO:
Process the nuts until broken down and start getting buttery

Add everything but coconut oil, process until it becomes a paste

Add coconut oil, mix until combined

Let it set in a fridge for 20-30 minutes
