Raw Doughnuts

Raw bites and energy ball are, after all, a bit boring. Making a raw doughnut, on the other hand, sounds like much more fun. And the good news is that it takes pretty much the same amount of time


150g cashew
150 g almond
7 dates (pitted and soaked for at least 30 minutes)
125 ml nut butter of choice
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of cardamom
Pinch of ground ginger
Pinch of salt

Raspberry frosting:
100 ml melted cacao butter
100 ml softened coconut butter
30 ml raspberry puree

Put cashews, spices and almond into food processer. Blend until they turn into crumbles
Add nut butter and dates and process until the mixture becomes dough. Sticky enough to roll the ball but not enough to stick to your fingers
Gently form the doughnuts and put to the freezer
For the frosting mix all the ingredients
Spread the icing on each doughnut and put back to the freezer for at least an hour
